Week 49...Pets only!

This was a pictures taken while we were up doing our family pictures at Castle Park. Poor thing had its wing messed up, but it made for such a sweet picture! Hope this counts as a pet!

I ♥ Tooshies!!

This week contest is  called " I ♥ Tooshies!". I was very excited for this week becuase I actually had the perfect picture for it. That was until I read that no bare butts were allowed! I was pretty bummed (no pun intended) So after some thought I figured I'd just put this pic in. Not one of those proffesional pics, but one of Life's Little Moments. My nephew can crawl now and my little Xander hasn't quite gotten the art of it yet. Levi was so intrigued by Xander he just started to crawl all over him, while Xander patiently laid there. It was quite funny!! Not to mention he looks completely guilty for doing it!!!!

I ♥ faces contest for this week

Now I haven't had internet for quite sometime. When we got it back I was sooo excited to start entering at I ♥ Faces again. I have only entered once before and I am an amature photographer BUT I do love a good contest and maybe one of these days I'll actually win. Hopefully. So this weeks contest was Sun Flare. I always thought that sun flare was bas  until I saw the entries to this contest and it gave me some ideas for pics in the future. This picture I just happened to have in the folder because it had a perfect flare.

A blog to share my hobby

I've decided after some thought that I would make a separate blog for the photography and photos that I edit. It's mostly just a hobby of mine and like to show off my work. I plan on getting a much needed and nicer camera in the future and taking some photography classes to get a little better at it and more educated. But for now, like I said, its the little hobby of a stay at home mom who wants to share her work! So don't expect spectacular work, it's just for fun.
I will be putting up pictures, I hope, at least once a week (probably more)!
